Inauguration of Shoot Pickle Ball Academy

In a first of its Kind, Northern India Pickle Ball Sports Pvt Ltd, an Indian Army Veteran’s Venture
Launched “Shoot Pickle Ball” Academy in Mohali, Punjab on 27th April 20, 2024. The grand
inauguration of its first Pickle Ball Academy took place at the prestigious Paragon Secondary
School in Sector 69, Mohali. The academy was inaugurated by Ms. Priya Dutt, Social Worker,
Ex parliamentarian and Chairperson and founder of The Nargis Dutt Foundation She is the
daughter of the legendary Cinema couple Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt.
The visionary behind Shoot Pickle Ball, Brig HPS Bedi, an esteemed Indian Army decorated
Veteran, expressed his enthusiasm for promoting the Pickle Ball game among the youth of
North India. Highlighting the game’s inclusivity and versatility, Brig Bedi emphasized that Pickle
Ball offers “Fitness with Fun” for players of all ages. He also revealed plans to develop the
facility at Paragon 69 into a world-class sports center in the region, extending his gratitude to
the school’s promoter Mr MBS Shergill, also an Airforce Veteran , for their unwavering support.
Mr Shergill said that we are happy to support the good cause of Brig Bedi in promoting sports
amongst the youth.
Pickle Ball’s popularity stems from its accessibility, fostering physical activity, social interaction,
and mental agility.Pickle Ball also serves as a means of fostering fitness, camaraderie, and
holistic development among individuals of all ages.
